Irene Thomas Hospice is a 10-suite residence located on the Delta Hospital Campus of Care. The hospice is purpose-built to provide a home-like environment with as much privacy and comfort as possible. It offers 24-hour nursing care and support for individuals in the last weeks and months of life when care cannot be managed at home.

Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation (DHCH Foundation) is the philanthropic arm of the Delta Hospital Campus of Care. As such, the Foundation is honoured to accept all donations that are designated to support needs at the Irene Thomas Hospice.

One of the critical needs identified at Irene Thomas Hospice this year was for a full bed replacement of the 15-year-old existing beds.

State-of-the-art procuity beds and isotour mattresses were chosen with patient comfort in mind. They are designed to help manage shear and provide pressure redistribution.

The Foundation is pleased to announce that the beds have arrived and are in use at the hospice.
