The most productive week of Logan Schuss' brief career in the National Lacrosse League has earned him recognition.

The Ladner native was named NLL second star of the week after producing 13 points in two games for the Minnesota Swarm.

Schuss had a goal and five assists in a 14-12 loss to the Toronto Rock, then scored five goals, including a natural hat trick in the fourth quarter, to lead the way in a 15-14 comeback win over the Philadelphia Wings.

The 2013 No. 1 overall draft pick scored 13 seconds into the final frame, before adding two more goals to complete the hat trick in a 1:46 span.

"It's all about what (coach Joe Sullivan) has been talking to us about: having faith in each other," said the former Delta Islanders junior 'A' standout.

"We know lacrosse is a game of runs and we were going to get our chance and it ended up working out for us."

The Swarm (2-7) return to action Sunday in Buffalo.
