The Jog for the Bog and International Bog Day festival are both slated for Sunday, July 24.
The day will start off with the Jog for the Bog race from 9 to 10 a.m. (registration starts at 8 a.m.). This trail race is part of the Vancouver Sun Run Series and is chip timed. Joggers will be enjoy complimentary Nature's Path pancakes served by our neighbourhood's very own North Delta Lions Club members, Cobs Bread pastries, fresh fruit, and Island Way Sorbet courtesy of Willowfields Enterprises.
After the run, the International Bog Day celebration follows from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with live stage performers, engaging exhibitors, a children's activities tent and tours through Burns Bog.
