The Hannah's Heroes Foundation Christmas cards are once again on sale.

The foundation was established in 2007 to raise awareness and funds for pediatric brain cancer research.

It was founded in honour of Hannah Hatlen, a Tsawwassen youngster who was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 2005. She died a year later at the age of five.

The Christmas card tradition began in 2006 when children who were in Hannah's kindergarten class drew Christmas pictures that were turned into cards.

Those kids are in Grade 5 and have drawn new pictures every year since.

This year's theme is stars. The cards are available at Albany Books and Scotiabank in Tsawwassen, or online at www.hannahsheroes.com.
