The Alzheimer Society of B.C. offers an Early Stage support group in Delta that provides a forum for education and information, sharing common experiences, feelings, practical tips, and strategies. ?The Canadian Cancer Society Volunteer Driver program in Ladner/ Tsawwassen is in need of more volunteer drivers to take patients to and from their treatment. Training and dispatch are provided. Time commitments are flexible. ?The Purple Pirate knows the recipe for a delicious, fun filled library program - one Purple Pirate, one part magic, one part storytelling, one part dance, two parts comedy and three parts audience participation. In his energetic interactive show, awardwinning performer Dustin Anderson will have kids of all ages thrilled about reading for pleasure. Suitable for ages 5 and up. ?BC Guide Dog Services is looking for volunteer boarding homes in Ladner for our dogs in training. Dog Lovers needed to board our guide dogs training for approximately six months while they undergo advanced instruction. The dogs are training with our instructors Monday to Friday 8: 30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are picked up and dropped off daily. ?The Ladner/Tsawwassen Kinsmen Club invites new and old members to join us, the first and third Mondays of each month at Kin House in Ladner. Join the only all-Canadian service club.
