People looking to support the Delta Community Foundation, and also looking for a great deal, came out during the Remembrance Day weekend to shop the sample sale at Harris Barn.
Delta Community Foundation and Evolution Fulfillment partnered up again to offer a warehouse sample sale filled with bargain prices and the City of Delta generously provided the venue.
The sale generated total sales of more than $30,000 for the Delta Community Foundation. These funds will enable the Foundation to support even more charities in the Delta community.
“It was amazing to have the privilege of giving back to the community of Delta and partnering with an incredible group of volunteers in the Delta Community Foundation,” said Dion Willis, COO of Evolution Fulfillment Inc. “We were so glad to see the community come out, in support of this event, while also finding some great deals. Evolution could also not do this sale without the support of the staff, who plan this event, and the brands who generously donate to its success.”
Foundation chair Gail Martin, on behalf of the Foundation board of directors thanked everyone who attended the sale and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the sale an overwhelming success.
“This support will enable the Foundation to continue its mandate, providing funding to local charities that offer essential programs and services to citizens in all parts of Delta,” said Martin. “I would also like to thank the City of Delta for providing Harris Barn, Evolution Fulfillment and Ape Ship Courier & Freight for donating all of the amazing merchandise.”
Carlene Lewall, vice-chair of the Foundation, was humbled by all of the support.
“It was such a great weekend. I recognized so many people that came out to support the Delta Community Foundation. It was so reassuring to have this support,” she said.
Evolution and Delta Community Foundation hosted a Mother’s Day warehouse sale in May where Evolution Fulfillment and Ape Ship Courier & Freight raised another $30,000 to benefit the Delta Community Foundation.
