. January 22, 3: 43 p.m., 1200-block of 56th Street: Three males entered the drug store and attempted to pass two counterfeit US $50 bills. Police will examine video surveillance and continue to investigate.

. January 24, 4 a.m., 1500-block of 56th Street: The delicatessen reported accepting a counterfeit US $50 bill. No video surveillance. Police seized the bill. Several situations involving the passing of counterfeit US $50 bills are being investigated in South Delta.

. January 27, 4 p.m., 4800-block of 6th Avenue: Police received a call from a complainant stating he had discovered an ad online offering his stolen ATV for sale. The seller was able to provide police with proof of purchase from a third party and police believe he did not know the vehicle was stolen. The complaint has been turned over to the RCMP for follow up as to a possible suspect. Ladner

. January 24, 6: 16 p.m., 5400-block of Westminster Avenue: Complainant reported her upper floor suite had been broken into while she and her husband were on vacation. Several

locked doors in the suite were forced open and items stolen include computers, jewelry and a purse.

Information regarding stolen computers added to police computer information system.

. January 26, 1: 54 p.m., 4800-block of Delta Street: An employee in the shoe store reported that while she was dealing with a customer her cell phone went missing from behind the counter. Two other females that were in the store at the time are suspected of the theft. Phone valued at $400.

January 26, 12: 26 p.m., 5200-block of Ladner Trunk Road: The manager of the liquor store reported a review of video surveillance tape revealed a male entering the store and selecting two bottles of cognac valued at $180 and leaving the store without paying. The male suspect is described as about 60 years old, wearing a dark, three-quarter-length coat, beige cowboy hat, black jeans and cowboy boots. Still photographs of the suspect to be distributed.

. January 26, 4: 50 p.m., 10000-block of Ladner Trunk Road: Complainant left her suite locked while she went out to do some errands and when she returned she found mud tracked on the floor into the washroom. Complainant believes the suspect must have a key as there is no sign of forced entry.

. January 27, 9 a.m., 5400-block of Westminster Avenue: Sometime overnight someone entered the complainant's vehicle and stole $15 in loose change.

No sign of forced entry so vehicle likely left unlocked.

. January 27, 12: 22 p.m., 5300-block of Crescent Drive: A report was received that someone entered the complainant's unlocked vehicle overnight and stole $10 in loose change.
