Delta police is investigating a Sunday morning shooting which took place in the 11800-block of 88th Ave.
Police were notified by Surrey RCMP at approximately 6 a.m. that a male suffering from a gunshot wound had "made his way to hospital for treatment," a media release noted.
The police department's major crimes section is investigating what led to the shooting. It appears the shooting took place at approximately 5 a.m. and "appears to be an isolated incident involving two individuals known to each other," police said.
The 35-year-old male's injuries are non-life threatening and, at this time, parties are uncooperative with police, the release noted.
