Delta police looking for owners of thousands in stolen property

Delta police are hoping to reunite some residents with their stolen property after thousands of dollars worth of items were recovered.

Delta police are hoping to reunite some residents with their stolen property after thousands of dollars worth of items were recovered.

Last month, as a result of an ongoing investigation, officers arrested two suspects for residential breaking and entering, possession of stolen property over $5,000 and theft over $5,000.

Officers were able to cross reference the seized stolen property with more than 30 residential break-ins throughout Delta, Surrey and Langley, and many of the stolen items have already been returned to their rightful owners, said Delta police spokesperson A/Sgt. Ciaran Feenan.

However, some of the property has not yet been identified.

In order to return the stolen items, the department has posted photos of all the remaining items on its website. Anyone who may have been the victim of a residential break-in in February or March is asked to view the photos.

If you are able to identify some of the property as yours, you are encouraged to contact the Delta Police Department to arrange an appointment to view and recover the property.

Potential owners of stolen property are asked to contact Const. Sean Ewing at 604-946-4411 ext. 2185 or at [email protected].
