As part of the Downtown Ladner Waterfront Revitalization Implementation Strategy, the Corporation of Delta has issued a request for expressions of interest for the use of the municipally-owned Seven Seas building and surrounding vacant waterfront properties on the south side of Ladner Harbour.

The expression of interest process is designed to seek qualified proponents with creative development proposals that are in keeping with the revitalization vision for the Ladner waterfront.

Preference will be given to proposals that include high quality retail spaces, restaurants, marine operations or other uses that enhance the vitality and ambiance of the area.

Proposals are expected to include significant public amenities, attractions and pedestrian opportunities. The overall goal is to strengthen and enrich the character and activities that make Ladner a unique destination.

Interested parties may view the complete expression of interest document at www.corp.delta.bc.ca/ladnerrevitalization.

Proposals should be received before 2 p.m. on Sept. 30.
