If you're of a local of a certain vintage, you probably frequented the bar and restaurant at the Pillars Inn.

Let’s take another step back in time to May 1973 and check out that month’s entertainment at Tsawwassen’s Pillars Inn.

Appearing Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. in the Fiesta Dining Room were John, Jeannine and Paul on drums. No last names were provided in the article.

Making a special appearance with the group was Tsawwassen Bass player Wyatt Ruther.

Opening in the mid-1960’s, the motel, bar and restaurant business on 56th Street advertised “For fun and excitement in a friendly atmosphere in a friendly atmosphere, remember the Pillars Inn!”
