Let’s head back to March 1967 when the Delta Chamber of Commerce gave special recognition to a pair of long-time members of the organization.
During an installation banquet, John Guichon (pictured left) and Nick Stevens (centre) received honourary lifetime memberships from retiring president Wilbur Mitchell.
A past president decades earlier, Guichon had been a member of the chamber almost since its inception in 1910,while Stevens had also been a member for many years.
Al Epp would be the next president.
