Let’s go back to 1966 when the first installation of cablevision in Delta was completed on Sept. 16 of that year on Gillespie Drive in South Delta.

EastLink took over ownership of Delta Cable in 2007, just a few months after the founding Thomas family sold the company to Persona. Persona was then acquired by Bragg Communications, which operated EastLink.
Since the early 2000s, television cable systems have been upgraded to digital.
