Delta’s Coldest Night of the Year Walk goes virtual

All locally funds raised from this annual event goes to Deltassist
Coldest night of the year
The Coldest Night of the Year charity walk is set for Feb. 20 and will be virtual this year due to COVID-19. All funds raised locally goes to Deltassist

Delta residents are encouraged to sign up for the Coldest Night of the Year, virtual style.

Set for Saturday, Feb. 20, the local edition of Canada’s annual national walk for homelessness will be a COVID-safe family friendly walk and will benefit Deltassist, Delta’s social services agency.

Funds raised by Deltassist during the Coldest Night of the Year will go directly to community services that help those in need in Delta.

For the self-organized micro walk participants are being asked to gather with a COVID-safe bubble then map out a safe route ranging between 2-to-5 kilometres.

Visit cnoy.org/location/delta to register for the walk or to donate.
