Delta Police remain at the scene this morning investigating a serious collision between a motorcyclist and a car.
At approximately 6:25 a.m. on Thursday, police were called to the intersection of 62B and 17A.
“The motorcycle was travelling west on 62B, while the vehicle was travelling east on 62B when the collision occurred,” said DPD in an email to the Optimist. “The motorcyclist suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries. DPD traffic unit is still early in the investigation stages.”
The DPD Traffic Unit on its Twitter feed said the intersection at 60th Ave. and 17a is currently closed due to a collision. Traffic delays are minimal.
