Re: Earthwise farm in the way, Sept. 23
As a concerned resident of Tsawwassen, I wish to lend my support to the Earthwise Society at this time.
Earthwise wishes to reinstate the original agreement and vision for the Southlands development, which allowed for a beautifully blended relationship between development, community and nature, sustainability as well as valuable community programs.
The recent newspaper article surprised many with the new plan to decrease their farm presence in the community as it has been.
Their range of programs is a great asset to the community. The variety of community services they offer could be greatly compromised.
Earthwise’s projects enhance the wellbeing of so many as nature gives her gifts of balance, harmony, peace and so much more.
Communities in the future will need services like these and this is not the time to diminish it.
Nature is a natural healer, balancer, restorative refuge and educator to help us to live healthy, harmonious lives.
I support the Earthwise Society in its request for the wellbeing of this community.
