The Delta Community Animal Shelter is in the business of making miracles happen this holiday season.

Fifteen special cats are available for adoption at a reduced fee of only $15 from now until Dec. 24.

"Many people adopt during kitten season, but this year we have a lot of older cats available for adoption and we wanted to encourage people to come and adopt," said shelter manager Sarah Jones.

"Adopting a cat in their golden years is an important decision, so we also want to ensure that the adoption is approved by those receiving this Christmas gift."

Jones said there are also plenty of other wonderful animals available for adoption at the shelter, 7505 Hopcott Rd., for a reduced fee.

Visit the shelter and if you see a Santa sticker on their kennel, adoption fees are half off or more.

All animals at the shelter have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and many have also had dental care. To view profiles, visit Delta.ca
