Delta police were looking for several youths over the weekend after a fire was set outside the Ladner Pioneer Library.
Police officers were con-ducting routine patrols early Sunday morning when they discovered a garbage can on fire in front of the library and saw several youths running from the area.
The officers immediately contained the area and called in the K9 unit, how-ever, a search failed to turn up any suspects.
The Delta fire department was also called to the scene to extinguish the fire, which was contained to the garbage can.
The incident is still under investigation.
