Delta Police have issued a warning to residents to be on the lookout for a fraud letter.

“Have you received a letter similar to the one in the photo? Addressed to you personally by name and address? Where you're being contacted by a representative of a bank or law office on behalf of a deceased relative you never knew you had? You're now looking at receiving an inheritance you didn't know you were entitled to? All you need to do is pay some probate fees, legal fees, or tax?,” asked Delta Police in a recent post on their Facebook page. “This is fraud. Simply do not engage.
“Remember the old adage, ‘If it's too good to be true, it probably is.’”
