Gently used medical equipment will be for sale in the parking lot of the Hospice Cottage Charity Shoppe tomorrow.
The Delta Hospice Society is fortunate to receive donations of medical equipment that Hospice Cottage sells at prices well below retail cost and may be less than the cost to rent the items.
Stock includes commode chairs, bed safety bars, walkers, wheelchairs, removable foot casts, crutches, canes and more.
Proper medical equipment is important for safe care as well as healing and regaining independence. If you are caring for a loved one at home, have had a recent injury or are scheduled for surgery, the medical equipment could prove useful.
Hospice Cottage, at 1521-56th St., Tsawwassen, is open Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those wishing to take a look at the equipment on regular store days can ask a staff member for help. There is also a health section in the store that sells smaller health aides.
