Heath Elementary in North Delta has been added to Fraser Health’s latest list of schools which have had COVID-19 exposures.
According to the health region, the exposure event occurred Dec. 10, but the region won’t stipulate whether the infected person was a staff member or student.
Heath has been on the exposure list before.
The list also includes the following Delta schools: Annieville Elementary (Dec. 2), Delview Secondary (Dec. 3), Hellings Elementary (Dec. 3, 4), North Delta Secondary (Dec. 2, 3, 4) and Pinewood Elementary (Dec. 2, 3, 4)
The B.C. Teachers’ Federation this week once again called on the province to cap class sizes to 15 students and extend the mandatory mask policy to schools.
President Teri Mooring noted some schools in the Fraser Health region have sent home more than a dozen exposure notices to parents.
