Highway 99 was a mess Monday afternoon after a crash between a dump truck and minivan snarled traffic. The accident occurred just before 2 p.m. south of Ladner Trunk Road. RCMP say the crash occurred after the truck blew a tire. No injuries were reported, but a load of gravel spilled across the highway, blocking lanes in both directions. Vehicles did manage to get through the stretch of highway, but there were long delays, which made for a rough evening commute for drivers. RCMP is still investigating.
