A Ladner farm house suffered extensive damage after a fire Thursday.
The fire broke out late Thursday afternoon at the house in the 4100-block of 88th Street. Deputy fire chief Ken Sim said the call came in as a fridge on fire and the house was already fully engulfed when crews arrived on scene.
One person had to be treated for smoke inhalation, but there were no other injuries, he said.
Sim said it took crews a couple hours to extinguish the blaze.
The fire is still under investigation. Sim said investigators were on scene Thursday and would be back again Friday.
"It's going to take some work to find the cause," he said.
