Ladner Legion has presented $15,000 in donations to various local charity organizations.
Heading the list was a $5,000 contribution to the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation with Legion members Gerry Bramhill and Tom Easton making the presentation to Lisa Hoglund and Shari Barr from the Foundation.
A $2,500 donation was also made to Deltassist with Legion member Russell Ford presenting to Colleen Danes.
The Legion also donated $2,500 to the Legion Foundation Veteran’s Transition Program, $2,000 to the 1867 Seaforth Highlanders Cadet Corp, $2,000 to the 819 Hurricane Cadet Squadron and $1,000 to Delta Meals on Wheels.
