A 55-year-old man died in a workplace accident in Ladner over the weekend.
The man, an employee with a tree service, was working in the area when a falling tree killed him.
Police, fire and paramedics responded to the call in the 7900-block of Houston Road in the Tilbury area just before 10 a.m. Saturday. The man was declared dead at the scene.
WorkSafe B.C. was also called in and has taken over the investigation, which is still ongoing, said spokesperson Trish Knight Chernecki.
