At approximately 1.2 million square feet of retail space, Tsawwassen Mills will offer a unique mix of premium fashion brands, factory outlets, restaurants and first-to-market retailers, as well as an 1,100-seat food hall.
Expected to create around 3,000 full and part-time jobs, the mall is split into five themed areas: City, Coast Salish, Outdoor Life, Fashion and Nature.
The mall is also offering an exclusive 42-passenger shopping shuttle providing free roundtrip transportation from the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal daily, coordinating with the Nanaimo and Victoria ferry sailing times. The shuttle operates Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday and holidays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, the mall notes ferry parking at the shopping centre’s 6,000 stall parking lot is not permitted.
TransLink, meanwhile, has altered the 601 and 609 routes to provide service to the shopping centre, joining the 620 service.
