A South Delta man is in critical condition in hospital after a he was hit while riding a mini-bike.
The incident occurred in the 4900-block of 45th Avenue at around 9 p.m. last Friday.
Delta police report that witnesses saw the 46-yearold man driving the miniature motorcycle between two vehicles when he was struck by a westbound truck.
The man, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to hospital suffering from life-threatening injuries. He remains in critical condition, said Delta police spokesperson Const. Ciaran Feenan.
