. May 10, 9: 07 p.m., 5100-block of 11A Avenue: Police attended a residence as a result of a noise complaint. The police assisted a resident in asking the guests to leave. An intoxicated guest's mother was called to come over and collect her child. The resident was given a strong warning regarding noise bylaws and hosting parties.

. May 11, 3: 05 p.m., Winskill Park: Complainant reported three youths in the park smoking what was believed to be marijuana.

Police attended and located the youths who admitted to smoking a small amount of marijuana. All youths were strongly warned that similar future behaviour would be met with possible criminal charges and sent on their way after doing a thorough cleaning of the surrounding area's garbage.

. May 11, 3: 28 p.m., 8A Avenue and 55A Street: Resident reported a young male throw what appeared to be a beer can into bushes. He was subsequently identified nearby while

accompanied by three other young men. The suspect was observed carrying a heavy backpack the officer believed to contain more alcohol. The suspect admitted the possession of more alcohol. The alcohol was seized and will be lodged in exhibits for destruction.

Parents informed by the officer.

May 12, 3: 40 a.m., 600-block of English Bluff Road: Complainant called police to advise that an unknown person had shone a flashlight at the basement window and also shaken a carport door setting off the intruder alarm. Police attended and set up containment. There was no sign of forced entry, no damage and no suspect located.

Ladner

. May 11, 12: 36 p.m., 4800-block of Georgia Street: Complainant reported her vehicle had been stolen. Her son had been in possession of the vehicle and left it unlocked with his keys, driver's licence and other ID inside. A day later, an anonymous caller reported the stolen vehicle had been parked in front of his home in the 4500-block of 44A Street since Friday, May 10. Police attended the unlocked vehicle and found it had been rummaged through, sustaining damage of approximately $300.

. May 11, 5: 06 p.m., Delta Air Park: Delta Fire Department called police requesting attendance to assist with an air emergency. DFD stated that a plane had gone off a runway.

Upon arrival, officers were advised their presence was not required as the incident was a light aircraft/glider that had gone onto grass during a takeoff.

. May 12, 9: 40 p.m., 4600-block of Clarence Taylor Crescent: Complainant reported his cellphone had been stolen from the men's change room in the Ladner Leisure Centre while he left it unattended on a bench.
