Traffic heading in and out of Ladner Monday morning was heavily backed up after a multicar crash closed Ladner Trunk Road for several hours.
The collision occurred at about 7: 10 a.m.
A mini van was stopped to make a left turn onto 88th Street when it was rear ended by a dump truck. The force of the impact caused the mini van to hit a pick up truck turning right off 88th Street. The dump truck went off the road into a ditch.
At around 11 a.m., Delta police opened Ladner Trunk Road to alternating traffic.
There were no major injuries reported.
Delta police spokesperson Const. Ciaran Feenan said the driver of the dump truck was issued a ticket for driving without due care and attention.
