Ocean Trailer recently donated $5,000 to support people with developmental disabilities in our community.
Delta Community Living Society (DCLS) received the generous gift, which will fund life-enriching programs for people with developmental disabilities that are funded entirely through community support.
“We are so grateful for this donation from Ocean Trailer, particularly during this difficult year,” said DCLS executive director Anita Sihota. “DCLS has maintained a valued inclusive employment partnership with Ocean Trailer for the past seven years, as Ocean Trailer has hired people with developmental disabilities as general labourers in their offices in Delta.”
DCLS is a non-profit community based-organization that provides support to people with developmental disabilities and their families.
“We are proud to be part of the great work done at Delta Community Living Society, creating opportunities for us and the people they support,” added Ocean Trailer president Sid Keay.
