Optimist readers have spoken! Our 17th annual Readers' Choice Awards, which honour those businesses and individuals that have been chosen as the best in their category by Optimist readers, were handed out last week during an evening reception at the Beach Grove Golf Club in Tsawwassen.
The winners were determined by ballots that ran in the Optimist this spring where readers were asked to choose their favourites in more than 75 categories.
Readers were also requested to provide a short testimonial on one particular business they deem their overall favourite. We were inundated with responses as shoppers had high praise for many local shops and services. See some of their comments in our special section.
