Staff members Dina Lee and Catherine Albertson flank OWL president Karen Wheatley as they hang the banner for this weekend’s open house.

OWL's spring open house takes place tomorrow and Sunday.

The highlight of the open house will be the release of a rehabilitated bird on both days at 1 p.m. Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society's popular annual event also includes a raffle and garage sale, children's activities, informative displays, a chance to visit the interpretation centre and bird care centre tours.

Proceeds from the event are put towards food, medical supplies, cage upkeep and facility growth.

The open house goes both days from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3800-72nd St., Ladner.
