KinVillage Community Centre in Tsawwassen has a busy schedule for this year's Seniors Week.
The week gets started with a pancake breakfast Monday morning, notes director of recreation John Lusted.
There are free activities later that day including exercise sessions, bridge and urban poling. KinVillage's Unique Boutique also has a sale for members.
A concert is lined up for Tuesday at 2 p.m. featuring Alan Matheson (trumpet, piano) and Jon Roper (guitar). Matheson, who's also a composer and arranger, has written arrangements for jazz legends Clark Terry and Bud Shank, his website notes. Roper has been performing in the Vancouver music scene for over a decade and his touring and recording credits cover many styles of music.
Wednesday's activities include bingo, which features lots of prizes, Lusted notes.
A bridge tournament and luncheon on Friday is expected to draw participants from all over Delta, he adds.
KinVillage Community Centre is at 5430-10th Ave. For more information, visit www.kinvillage.org.
