The Rotary Club of Tsawwassen got into the Christmas spirit over the weekend with its Light Up the Park event at Diefenbaker Park.
For the past few weeks, Rotarians have braved the cold, wind and rain to put up more than 1,700 lights around the park, which were switched on at the event Saturday, Dec. 14.
The event included hot chocolate courtesy of the South Delta Secondary Interact Club and caroling by Beach Grove Elementary students.
