Delta police are looking for help in order to find a suspect in a North Delta hit and run. At about 12: 10 a.m. on June 25, an 18-year-old female was hit by a car in the 11700-block of 72nd Avenue.

At about 12: 10 a.m. on June 25, an 18-year-old female was hit by a car in the 11700-block of 72nd Avenue.

She received serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the car failed to stop and was last seen driving east on 72nd Avenue into Surrey. The car was described as a dark coloured, four-door compact import.

As a result of the investigation to date, officers have narrowed the possible suspect vehicle to one of these two makes and models - a 2005-2010 metallic blue Chevrolet Cobalt, or a 2005-'06 metallic blue Pontiac Pursuit/G5.

The passenger side mirror was broken off and there will be damage to the front passenger side quarter panel of the car.
