Delta Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occured on Sunday afternoon in North Delta.

One person was sent to hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon in North Delta.

Delta Police say just before 3:45 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 11300 block of 80th Ave.

The collision involved a passenger car and a motorcycle.

One person, the motorcyclist, a 17-year-old male from Delta, received serious but non-life threatening injuries.

80th Avenue remained closed for an extended period of time while collision analysts documented the scene and collected evidence. 

Cause of the collision is not yet known. The analysts will work with the physical evidence, CCTV evidence, and witness statements to determine cause.
