At approximately 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 24 police responded to a report of shots fired in the 9200-block of 120th Street in North Delta.

“Officers arrived on scene and found a lone male victim who had been shot. The 25-year-old male victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his lower body,” said Sharlene Brooks, Delta police public affairs coordinator. “As a result of an on-going investigation, police have identified a vehicle of interest believed to be involved in the shooting. This vehicle has since been reported stolen and its whereabouts is unknown.”

Police are looking for a blue 2011 Toyota Corolla with B.C. license plate AS354D.

Brooks said it is possible that the vehicle has been abandoned on the side of the road, in a parking lot or in an underground parkade.
