Longtime Ladner Legion member George Koka received the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal last Tuesday. Koka has been volunteering his time, including the Deltassist Christmas food hamper program, for over 40 years. Over 65 of his friends and family gathered last week at the Ladner Legion for a dinner and celebration of his achievement.
