Ranked: Metro Vancouver cities

According to MoneySense magazine, these are the top 15 cities in Metro Vancouver

Earlier this month, MoneySense published its annual ‘Canada’s Best Places to Live’ list. It’s an interesting list for a few reasons, not least of all the fact that St. Albert, Alberta is apparently the best all-around Canadian city.

And despite the international publishing trend of placing Vancouver at or near the top of “most livable cities” lists, here it didn’t even crack the top 20.

So, how did the Lower Mainland’s individual parts rank? Which of the glorious wet coast cities really is the best (as determined by MoneySense)?

Though the magazine’s methodology ranked cities based on a combination of practical factors (wealth, housing, demographics, etc.), the list holds up remarkably well if we pretend it was based on intangible or superficial factors, like the city’s natural beauty, fashion sense of its constituents or general reputation throughout the region.

What do you think?
