Around 200 packed the ballroom at the Town and Country Inn for the event hosted by the Delta Police Foundation, which featured a tribute by the Delta Police Pipe Band, a special musical performance, and many roasts and toasts.
Former mayor Beth Johnson, former attorney general Wally Oppal, Vancouver police Chief Jim Chu and New Westminster police chief Dave Jones all took to the podium both praising and light-heartedly roasting the outgoing chief, while MC former NHLer Dennis Hull kept the audience in stitches.
