Santa Claus and his reindeer, along with three of his elves -all volunteers -came to Tsawwassen & Ladner on Sunday to spread the Christmas spirit around town.

Riding on eBikes to cover great ground, the ‘Inaugural Santa eBike Ride’, featured Santa and his six helpers making visits to the seniors’ residences and care homes around the community including – KinVillage, Waterford, Augustine House, St. David’s, and Delta Hospital – to let residents know that Santa loves them, and that he, like everyone else, is holding them in his heart during, this, the Christmas of a pandemic.

Covering off some 40 km, snaking their way through South Delta, and to the sounds of car horns, and waves and cheers of children and adults alike, Santa and his elves also toured around Centennial Beach, Beach Grove, to Tsawwassen Mall, down 52nd St. around the Tsawwassen Mall down Arthur Drive to Ladner and finally back to home base as night set in.

And then they heard him explain – ere he drove his eBike!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
