The Sidekick Players are pleased to present Norm Foster's Ethan Claymore in November and December. But they need to cast it first.
Ethan Claymore is the story of a young reclusive widower who, with the help of a determined neighbour and the spirit of his recently-deceased brother, finds love and laughter again. The play takes place a few days before Christmas in a small town in rural Ontario.
Auditions are Saturday, Aug. 25 from noon to 3 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 27 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Sidekick Rehearsal Hall at the Tsawwassen Arts Centre, 1172-56th St. Tsawwassen.
No appointments will be made and auditions will be on a first come, first served basis.
This will be a cold read from the script and scripts are available at the Vancouver Library for perusal before auditioning. All Sidekick productions are non-equity.
You must become a member of Sidekick at the first reading of the play.
Sidekick is growing more and more each season and we welcome new members. If you're interested in working "in theatre," but not on stage, please get in touch with us. We need production people as well. It's a lot of fun and you'll meet some great people.
