Drive BC is warning commuters to give themselves extra time this morning with snow falling in many parts of Metro Vancouver resulting in slick roads.

Northbound traffic on Highways 99 and 17A is proceeding slower than usual towards the Massey Tunnel but the counterflow lane is open. All four northbound lanes are also currently open on the Alex Fraser Bridge.

According to Environment Canada, there is still a chance of wet flurries tonight but a warming trend is on the way with temperatures reaching 5C on Wednesday.
