It will offer something for the whole family.

That’s the promise from Tsawwassen Mills as it gets closer to its grand opening.

Having Coast Salish art throughout, including a stunning piece at the entrance designed by Tsawwassen First Nation Chief Bryce Williams, the mall is being described as a unique project in terms of the variety of retailers and how it functions as a destination for shoppers.

The retailers include, among many other stores, Adidas Outlet Store, Bass Pro Shops, Guess Factory Store, Old Navy, Sport Chek, Victoria’s Secret, Michael Kors, Marshalls, HMV, Calvin Klein, Levi’s, Saks Off 5th, Lululemon athletica outlet and Pro Hockey Life.

But it’s also all about providing an entertainment experience, according to Tsawwassen Mills, which will feature an aquatic inspired play park for kids, as well as amenities to make the shopping experience more enjoyable, including mobile phone chargers and strollers with interactive touch-screen displays to engage children. Shoppers can also drop their packages off at guest services if they feel they’re carrying too many and still want to shop.

The 1,100-seat food hall has stunning West Coast themed architecture with 50-foot ceilings with large skylights that let in a significant amount of natural lighting. The design inspiration, the mall notes, came primarily from the Granville Island Public Market, heavy timber structures with industrial influences, and an overall eclectic hospitality design.

There will be 15 food hall vendors as well as restaurants Milestones, Montana’s, Boston Pizza and Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl and Grill, which is located at Bass Pro Shops.
