Southpointe Academy is an independent, co-educational day school located in Tsawwassen.

The school enrolls 545 students from kindergarten to Grade 12 and is committed to academic excellence, university preparation, leadership and service. The graduating class of 2016 includes 38 students that have chosen to attend universities both in Canada and the United States. Congratulations to our graduating class of 2016!

This year's Valedictorian Brenna Krause has been a student at Southpointe Academy since 2003.

Krause has been an active member of the school community over the years.

She has been involved in the odd theater production over the years, most notably A Midsummer's Night Dream, and Physics Olympics.

Her greatest involvement in the school, she believes, has been in the school's public speaking competitions and as a member of student council.

Krause states that both experiences have been incredibly rewarding and have equipped her with skills she plans to nurture and employ in the future.

After she graduates from Southpointe, she will be taking a gap year to do some volunteering and self-discovery, as she believes it will benefits her greatly in the future and make her studies all the more meaningful. She plans to attend the University of Victoria in the Faculty of Social Sciences in 2017 and eventually hopes to become a lawyer.
