Delta Gymnastics held its fourth annual Sport Showdown fundraiser last Sunday at the Delta Sport Development Centre.
The friendly competition featured teams of eight to 12 taking on a series of challenges, such as walking a low beam blindfolded with your teammates as a guide and using foam cubes to build a tower.
There were two categories for teams:
Full Throttle For Type As (more competitive) and Power to the People (more recreational). Trophies were handed out to the winning teams from each category. The Delta Fire Department team won the Full Throttle category this year, while the South Delta Triathlon team took the Power to the People category.
The event raised $3,600 this year.
