The 17th edition of the Tour de Delta featured exciting finishes, big fields and great weather last weekend.
"We had an incredibly successful event," said BC Superweek series director Mark Ernsting.
Delta's annual cycling weekend once again kicked off BC Superweek, a series of nine races over 10 days around the Lower Mainland.
Ernsting said this year's Tour de Delta saw the largest number of pro riders in both the men's and women's fields.
Considering the spring we endured, Ernsting said he thought Superweek might have some challenges weather-wise, but that certainly wasn't the case last weekend.
"Overall it was just a perfect weekend that way," he said.
