The following are some of the calls of interest the Delta police responded to in the South Delta area between Monday, Feb. 25 and Sunday, March 3:

Tsawwassen

. March 1, 4: 55 a.m., 5000-block of Dennison Drive: Police responded to a report of loud music playing in a neighbouring residence. On arrival police could hear the music from the street and advised the occupant to turn the music down and gave a warning of a noise bylaw fine. The occupant complied and turned off the music.

. March 2, 4: 27 p.m., 1200-block of 56th Street: A person was reported passed out in the driver seat of a vehicle parked in front of the beer and wine store.

Police found a female suspect with a slight odour of liquor on her breath taking a nap. As the keys to the vehicle were not in the ignition, but zipped up in the driver's purse, she was not given a roadside suspension. The suspect declined any medical attention but requested a private tow to her home.

. March 2, 1: 51 a.m., 4600-block of 55A Street: Complainant reported an intoxicated female in front of his home who was refusing to leave. Police attended and located the female who was escorted without incident to her residence three houses away.

Ladner

. February 25, 9: 21 a.m., 7100-block of Vantage Way: Local business reported the theft of $150 worth of steel shavings from an unlocked recycling bin in the unlocked parking lot. Police recommended the recycling bin be located so access is difficult and the installation of surveillance video.

. February 26, 8: 03 p.m., 4600-block of 72nd Street: Complainant left her purse in her locked car while she was walking her dog in the park. When she returned she found the front door of the vehicle damaged and her wallet missing.

. February 26, 5: 32 p.m., 3200-block of 72nd Street: While the complainant was in the horse barn she left her purse in her locked car. Another horse rider had alerted the complainant to her vehicle alarm sounding. When the complainant later checked her vehicle she found the door damaged and her purse missing. Bank and debit cards immediately cancelled.

. March 1, 9: 32 a.m., 5200-block of Ladner Trunk Road: The loss prevention officer at the drug store reported the theft of allergy medications. The officer provided police with the name of a suspect who was observed on the video surveillance camera in the area of the theft. The officer requested stills of the suspect be circulated. The investigation is ongoing.

. March 1, 5: 24 a.m., 5700-block of Ladner Trunk Road: Police stopped a vehicle where a computer check had indicated a suspect with an invalid driver's licence. The suspect, who had an odour of liquor on his breath, was aware his licence had been cancelled and also admitted to drinking many beers the night before. A breath sample provided read "Warn." The suspect was given a three-day roadside suspension and a ticket for driving without a licence.

. March 2, 11: 55 a.m., 4600-block of Clarence Taylor Crescent: Complainant reported that while she was in the recreation centre the rear side window of her vehicle was smashed and her purse containing three passports was stolen. Stolen property added to police database.

. March 3, 6: 46 p.m., Harvest Drive and Ladner Trunk Road: Police responded to a report of an impaired driver in the area. Complainant provided the licence plate number of the vehicle and indicated they had observed the vehicle mounting the curb and driving in both lanes. Police located the vehicle at the home of the suspect who indicated the erratic driving was a result of a foot operation she had two days earlier. There was no evidence of intoxication and the suspect was advised to drive with extreme caution and not to drive while her foot was affecting her ability to operate her vehicle.
