Do you want to share your experiences and life story with family members?

Learn how to vividly tell those stories in a way that captivates your listeners at Family Storytelling on Tuesday, June 6, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the George Mackie Library in North Delta. Discover how to find your own voice as an imaginative storyteller to intrigue and engage your audience.

Learn how not to be targeted and financially impacted by fraud. Seniors First presents Frauds and Scams for Seniors on Tuesday, June 20, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the George Mackie Library. Find out what frauds and scams are, common methods and schemes targeting Canadian seniors, safety strategies, and resources to consult if you or someone you know has been affected by frauds or scams. While intended for an audience of seniors, the information presented will be useful for the public in general. There will be questions and answers time after the presentation.

The George Mackie Library afternoon Book Club is looking for more members.

Join them on the third Thursday of the month (June 15, July 20 and Aug. 17), from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m. Currently they are reading The Alice Network by Kate Quinn. Books are provided and discussed in a casual setting.
