The following are some of the calls the Delta police responded to in the previous week:

TSAWWASSEN

Nov. 3, 3:06 p.m., 6700-block of 1A Avenue: Complainant received a call from his credit card company indicating a fraudulent attempt had been made on his card to purchase $9,500 worth of computer tablets online. A search of his vehicle by the complainant found his briefcase containing personal documents and his credit card number was missing. The credit card company cancelled the card and no charges had been accepted. No damage to vehicle as it had been accidentally left unlocked.

LADNER

Oct. 22, 7:26 a.m., 6000-block of 46A Avenue: Complainant reported observing a male and female using flashlights to look into cars and returning to a white car carrying a jerry can. Police located the two suspects who were arrested for possession of break-in instruments and stolen property. Several items were confirmed stolen from multiple thefts. The suspects were released with a promise to attend court at a future date. They were also given a curfew and no contact conditions.

Nov. 4, 9:41 p.m., 7500-block of Ladner Trunk Road: Complainant reported while he was placing an order at a business his cell phone and car keys were stolen from the counter. The phone is described as a Sony Experia. Nov. 4, 1:47 p.m., 5200-block of 48th Avenue: Loss prevention officer at a business flagged down a police officer to indicate a female had handed a bag of groceries and meat to a male who exited the store without paying. Police located the male in a vehicle in the parking lot. Both suspects were arrested for theft, read their rights, transported to police headquarters and then released with court dates.

Nov. 7, 1:06 p.m., 4900-block of Harbour Stroll: Complainant reported sometime during the early morning hours someone gained entry to his vehicle by smashing the rear passenger side window. A silver Toshiba laptop and a black Dakota men's rain jacket were stolen.

Nov. 7, 11 a.m., 4900-block of River Reach: Report received from complainant that her vehicle parked in her driveway had been broken into sometime overnight. The vehicle had been rummaged through but nothing stolen.
